Hampir setiap jarum jam pendek itu menunjuk langit-langit, aku sedang asyik bercengkerama dengan benda datar berdiagonal 16″. Brightness 45 dan contrast 38. Di kejauhan, petugas ronda memukul tiang telepon sebanyak dua belas kali dengan tepat.

Setiap 24 jam sekali, pada saat yang sama, aku selalu bersamanya. Menatap segala keindahan dunia yang terlukis di tubuhnya. Menikmati kata demi kata yang berbaris di setiap mili raganya. Ya, aku melihat seluas-luas dunia hanya dengan mengintip kotak kecilnya.

Malam ini, aku ingin sesuatu yang berbeda mengisi kebersamaanku dengannya. Aku tak hanya ingin mengambil, mengambil dan mengambil apa yang ada di dalam jendela ajaib ini. Aku juga ingin memberi. Ingin mempersembahkan titik gelora yang sering bermunculan di sudut-sudut peluhku. Peluh yang bening, yang keluar dari persemayamannya di dalam jiwaku.

Semoga tulisan ini menjadi prolog kebersamaanku dengannya. Bahwa dia tidak akan bertepuk sebelah tangan layar. Sebab layar hati dan asaku akan selalu menyertainya setiap jam dua belas malam.

Menonton Oprah Winfrey Show tadi pagi dengan topik mengenai cenayang, ramalan dan komunikasi dengan orang yang sudah mati bikin saya susah tidur. Begitu tahu topiknya tentang dunia metafisik (yang belakangan setelah berlanjut nonton ternyata dunia tersebut sudah di update menjadi fisik juga oleh para ilmuwan…) saya langsung SMS suami saya, berharap beliau sempet nonton di kantornya sana. Sebab yang sangat saya tau, dia orang yang skeptis, apapun harus berdasarkan lojik. Siapa tau nanti jadi bahan obrolan yang asyik sebelum tidur.
Dalam tayangan tadi, memang ada orang-orang tertentu yang mempunyai kelebihan/kepandaian untuk bisa melihat masa depan.

Saya ingin berbagi satu tayangan TV yang susah saya lupakan. Kemarin, di Trans TV. Jam dan judul acaranya lupa.

Seorang ibu bertubuh gembrot dan berpakaian kutung yang lusuh. Duduk beralaskan beton kotor di bawah kolong jembatan Kali Ciliwung, Jakarta. Beton tempat ia duduk juga merupakan rumah tempat ia dan ‘tetangga-tetangganya’ hidup. Tidur, makan dan beranak-pinak.

Sambil bercakap-cakap santai dengan tetangga, ia memegang jaring berdiameter sekira 30-40 cm dengan pegangan panjang. Jaring itu dipergunakan untuk mengambil barang-barang yang hanyut di kali.
